Congrats!

C002

Ok...I got carried away yesterday with this "CONGRATS!" clear stamp. I just started stamping it over and over again on small pieces of white paper hehehe......thinking that I would use them someday on any designs in future.

Then I got this simple idea of doing these small gift cards that I can use for weddings. You see, I don't like giving presents to couples on their wedding day. I prefer to give them money instead so that they can use it to buy whatever that suits their fancy . And I would usually put the money in this small gift card and at the same time the gift card acts as a congratulation card that I can use to write on simple wishes in it. So it's a double function card hehehehe.

I also love the fact that I finally was able to use those small peach color flower stems that I bought long time ago. When I look at all the embellishments I have.....I can see that I bought a lot but have not used them yet.....they just sit there waiting to be utilize hehehe. I just have no idea of what to do with them  just yet....hehehehe......but the ideas will come....eventually :) God willing :).

I received an order to design 5 congratulations cards from a fellow blogger who had recently done a blog award at her wedding theme blog. It's a very interesting blog that is dedicated to future brides. They provide all the information a bride would need to know and prepare them with all the great tips too on how to plan for that perfect wedding. All the information that a bride could ever need at just a click away :). Cool huh?? :) You can view it HERE.

She requested the cards to have a simple design with a bridal theme since the blog awards are for wedding theme bloggers. As I have designed cards for her before and I know that she loves pastel colors, so that's why I designed all the cards using soft pastel colors. Soft and sweet! :) The wedding dress, I designed using a combination of doily paper and soft pastel colored paper which I then decorated with sequin and ribbon as the belt. Then I added the silver dots to make it look like it has bling bling on it ehehehe.....

I used a lot of silver ribbons on the designs because that silver ribbons never fail to make it look fancy :). It just adds that special touch to it without having to do much decoration to the card. As you can see, it's a very simple design. Clean and simple and sweet. :)

Congratulations Dear...

C001

A matching red hot envelope for the card

The tiniest paper cupcake I ever made ;)

I got an order to make a pop up card recently.....pretty excited about that :) My customer wanted the same design as the pop up card that I made a while back, but instead of writing wordings like "Happy Birthday Honey", she wanted it to be "Congratulations Dear". Well that was not a problem hehehe......so I made it just the way she requested.

The pop up lip and cupcakes inside the card is the same like the original design I made as you can see at the link HERE. However, the wordings inside had to be changed to suit the needs of my customer. One thing that I would like to mention here is that this is the first time I had to make the tiniest paper cupcake ever! hehehe......actually, my customer wanted a small photo of a cupcake beside her signature, but I decided to make one by hand instead. So tiny and cute! :)
