Thank you so much Mas!

How sweet is this sweet color combo?? I love the sweet soft pastel colors here. I was requested to do a thank you card for the same customer who ordered the Chelsea FC card. This card is for her dear friend Mas. I was the one who suggested a pop up inside but at the time I had no idea what to do yet....hehehehehe.....I only had the idea of doing it as sweet looking as possible....cute, adorable like what my customer wanted. Something with soft pastel colors and feminine looking.
I realized that after so many times making a handmade card that is quite big in size, now I find making a card that is small quite in size quite difficult to do...hehehe....funny huh??? Well, that's how I felt when I made this card....I felt like there is not much room for decoration.....and it was quite difficult to make a pop up inside....especially a pop up like the one above. Perhaps for small cards like this, it's better to make simpler pop ups. Hmmm.....it's a lesson learned for me this time. I guess I was too adventurous in trying. ;P
But all in all I love this sweet looking card no matter what......I am so in love with the colors.....I would love to have a blouse with these colors on them.....so girlish hehehe......so like me!!! :D

Ain't it sweet? hehhehe! I must say that I really love the color combination here. Soft pink, turquoise, white and purple, plus a little touch of silver. This is a request I got from my previous customer's husband. Before this, my customer surprised him with my handmade card, and now he is surprising her with a similar card to thank her for the surprise she gave him. Sweet huh? hehehe..... :)
He suggested that I use similar colors like the card he received which was purple and pink theme but since it is to be given to a lady, I thought perhaps I should make it more softer and sweeter. He also suggested I use turquoise since she loves that color too.
Actually I made this card a lot earlier but couldn't publish it here yet because I had to wait till the surprise is over in order to do it. I can't risk having her see the card before the surprise. hehehe....So once I got the green light, I can now publish it here today. So happy about that. It's about time :)
The card I made before (HB052), I did the pop up of the husband with hair that was just cut out from a black colored paper. But this time around I tried to draw the hair using an ink pen. It was an interesting experiment hehehe....I think it looked ok, much better than just cutting out a shape from a black colored paper right? LOL! I also made the pop up of the husband and wife holding each others hands.....that's different, I've never done that before hehehe.....so difficult too. I was suppose to put some baby products somewhere inside the card together with the pop ups but somehow my experiments didn't work out so instead I just added the USANA products in the basket which is something that his wife is taking now for her pregnancy. And the other basket I added some bottled products. Those were suppose to be gifts for his wife. I was only suppose to make one basket, of him holding the basket and handing it out to his wife but since I couldn't figure out how to do so after so many trials, I decided the best thing to do is just pop the baskets on the left and right side of the card. LOL!
I really hope his wife loves it. :)

Heartfelt Thanks!

:)))) I am currently in love with this card! hehehehe! Why? It's the colors.....it's just because of the colors, mainly.....and maybe because of the laces and bows of ribbons idea. I made this card for my Mom's friend. She wanted a thank you card.
She didn't request for a pop up but my Mom wanted me to make one anyways because she loves pop ups hehehe......at first I couldn't decide on what kind of pop up to make....then after some serious thought, I came up with this one. It's something I've never done before....and have never seen anyone doing so. What I did was, I weaved the stems of the flowers to the pop up. It's so much fun doing this way rather than gluing them the usual way behind the pop up vase of basket. This way, I get to arrange the flowers easily and it sort of forms a basket like pattern on the pop up. Then I colored it a bit on the edges with colored pencil. Loving this technique and hopefully can use it for other pop ups in future. :)

Pop up flower bouquet...
8:37 PM
HANDMADE
A new pop up! Tried to do this new pop up design which is a flower bouquet. A pop up bouquet is not that hard to make but the hard part for me would be to arrange the flowers. I really had problems doing that. And I know that the next time I do this, it won't look exactly the same. It will have a slight difference, that's for sure. :)
The design on the outside of the card is similar to the birthday card (HB031) that I did before except that I changed the colors. I love pink and apple green combo. It's just sweet! :)

Cute thank you card...

HANDMADE
I made this thank you gift card for my aunt......she ordered a few of them to give away to her friends. I made a quick and simple card using white embossed paper. I love this paper because of the embossed design on it. :) No need to decorate too much on the card because the emboss is already considered as decoration.....hehehe!

Baby stroller shaped card
6:16 PM
HANDMADE
NB005
I am so excited about this new baby gift card I made for my customer.....it's for her new born's majlis cukur jambul! :) She specifically wanted the shape of the card to be of a baby stroller. So I designed a simple one for her that would be suitable to be given as a Thank You card to her friends and relatives who have helped her during the ceremony......
This card is pretty small in size.....about 8.5cm wide x 8.5cm in length. It comes with a cute little handmade envelope that's soft green in color! So cute! :)

A cute thank you card.....
2:13 AM
HANDMADE

SGC005 (SOLD OUT)A cute customer of mine requested a few of this cute little apple green A7 size card from me recently....she was so in love with the birthday card design I made for my aunt's birthday, that she wanted the same design for her thank you card....except that colors she wished for are apple green and turquoise....this was quite a daunting task as the flowers that I had to do and work with were very petite and quite a struggle to paste on the card......lots of patience needed for this one hehehehe! :) Even though it was difficult to do... I am very happy with how it turned out.... :)
